Cleveland Budget: The administration has released the Mayor's Estimate Budget that Council will start hearings on as tradition the day after President's Day, Tuesday Feb. 17th through at least Feb. 24th.
City Council wants to hear from you. Concerned about funding for parks? Have ideas how to improve public safety? Tell us about it. Your input is vital. Council urges residents to engage in the budget process in four ways:
Attend the hearings: Council's budget hearings are open and anyone may attend. Hearings begin at 9 am and will be held in Room 217, the Mercedes Cotner Committee Room in City Hall.
Tune in live: Watch the hearings on TV20 at www.tv20cleveland.com or live or later on Council's YouTube channel www.youtube.com/user/clevelandcitycouncil.
Share your thoughts: Contact City Council by calling or texting 216-714-3006, writing to Council at www.clevelandcitycouncil.gov/resources/public-comment or emailing webmaster@clevelandcitycouncil.gov.
Get feedback: Council staff will share residents' questions, concerns and input with Council members and you input may be included in the budget hearings. Council will also share it in response to specific questions on social media and here.
