Black History Month
While we celebrate Black history throughout the year, iconic events are celebrated throughout our city, especially in February. SignalCleveland has compiled a list of such events, which you can access here.
2026 City of Cleveland Budget Hearings
The Bibb administration has released the Mayor's Estimate Budget, and the City Council started hearings on the budget the day after President's Day, Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Theses hearing will continue at least through February 24.
City Council wants to hear from you!
Concerned about funding for parks? Have ideas for improving public safety? Tell us about it! Your input is vital. Council encourages residents to engage in the budget process in four ways:
Attend the hearings: Council's budget hearings are open to the public. Hearings begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be held in the Mercedes Cotner Committee Room, Room 217, in Cleveland City Hall, 601 Lakeside Avenue.
Tune in live: Watch the hearings live on TV20 at ClevelandOhio.gov/TV20 or on City Council's YouTube channel www.youtube.com/user/clevelandcitycouncil. Video recordings will remain posted on YouTube following each hearing.
